There is no better way to try the fabled Kobe beef than this restaurant. Service was impeccable, and perfection was incorporated into every aspect of the dining experience. They even ran out into the street to hail a taxi for us when we were done. Well done.

Way over priced for the quality

What have you said about the most exaggerated beef ever? Probably the creamy and creamy taste of the meat, the aroma of every bite of oil is full of mouth, with the sweet taste of grapefruit soy sauce and special miso, so that the greasy feeling of the meat is greatly reduced, each meat is in the mouth A sweet, tender, and elastic ensemble with a musk, sweet and smoky chorus in the nose. In addition to the recommendation, I don't know how to tell you.

The price is expensive but the beef is incredible to eat. You definitely also pay for the experience. I would recommend this place for those who have not had Kobe beef before.

Good to eat! The meat is a little less, and it would be nice if the meat was a little more!

It’s a bit on the pricey end of the spectrum. But for the quality and service, it’s pennies on the dime. It was an otherworldly culinary experience.

Really expensive meals but worth the try. Chef cooked the beef in front of you with passion.

The food tastes good overall, and at this price, it's more cost-effective than the lower-ranked Wagyu beef in Taiwan.

It is a fashionable shop. The meat was also delicious.

Had a great experience with this place. Definitely a must try if you are traveling to japan. I recommend choosing an A4 and champion steak to tell the difference. A+ for service and technique in preparing the beef. Would definitely come back!

Here I had the best steak of my life! It is definitely expensive, but the experience and the taste makes it well worth it! They cook the vegetables and beef perfectly, and provide different flavors to finish it to your taste. This was a once in a lifetime experience!

it was amazing. we got in last minute prob as last customer with no reservation. the whole meal was meticulately planned. we bought the kobe beef choice sirloin and ribeye but there's an even pricier option called "champion of kobe beef" which we will definitely try the next time we're back.

We went to lunch to try Kobe meat. We had booked online a month before. We chose two different cuts: the A5 thread and the Sirloin A5.As a first course they brought us a really delicious potato velouté, accompanied with a bowl of rice or bread with butter (you could choose), shortly after they brought a salad.Meanwhile the chef cooks kobe and vegetables in front of you, as he cooks you to taste the meat with different flavors: salt, wasabi, garlic and pepper chips. The meat is wonderful, it looks like butter. Finally they offered us coffee and tea.We spent € 170 a head, it's certainly very expensive, but it's an experience that should absolutely be done if you go to Kobe!

amazing beef. kobe beef was 16.200 for sirloin. local filet was 8.000. waiters are very nice and excellent english. once in a lifetime so worth it.

First time Kobe beef experience, this was exactly what I was told it was going to be, and more. The food was exquisite and I knew the chefs made it in front of you- I felt nervous as I went in alone and not entirely sure what to expect, but the staff were incredibly well mannered and I felt looked after. I recommend the sirloin kobe beef, the best cut, and cooked medium rare before your eyes.An expensive price, yes, but for a true luxury food experience. Ps. A note to the staff, thankyou for your hospitality. Also, I found my phone! I dropped it leaving the restaurant. Thank you for searching when I came back to look for it :)

This is definitely a “bucket list†restaurant. If you happen to be in Kobe, you just can’t miss it. Everything from the service and ambiance to the cleanliness to, of course, the food was incredible. Our chef, Nakao Hiroshi, took excellent care of us and gave recommendations for how best to enjoy each type of beef we ordered. He cooked everything right in front of us and focused on only us all night. We got the choice Kobe filet and sirloin (to share) in course A and B, respectively. It was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth beef! I’m from Texas so I know steaks, and these steaks were to die for. It’s definitely the most expensive meal of our trip, but worth every penny. Don’t miss this experience!

Beef is really delicious! Eating a five-point cooked sir can be said to be the entrance to the ~~~, the restaurant's environment and service is not bad! But the relative price is not cheap! !

Very expensive but it’s worthwhile to try Kobe beef. (Much better comparing to $80 filet)

The stuff was super friendly and nice.Cook was very great and a good Guy. He also recommended his opinion on how to eat the meat. The meat was super perfect! 5/5 stars !!I can highly recommend this place for anyone !!!!!!Thanks for this great and tasty experience !!

Very comfortable dining environment, the chef is very friendly and will chat (provided that it will be in Japanese XD). We ordered the rare sirloin steak, which is quite tender and tender.

I am giving this two stars because while the food was really delicious, the service and atmosphere really let this experience down. Compared to the usual amazing Japanese service we have experienced, this was very poor. Unfriendly greetings and a chef that looked like he was seriously depressed and hating his job. There was no love put into the food preparation, completely mechanical and cold. For the price, I would not say that this experience is worth it and I have had similar tasting beef in South Africa for a fraction of the cost. We tried to book at their flagship but they told us they were full and booked us here instead. I sincerely doubt they were full as it was 1pm on a Wednesday and I think they just wanted to send business to this branch. The restaurant was completely empty. Really just disappointing for the small fortune we just spent on lunch.

It was the best steak I’ve ever tried in my life! If you still have any doubts, you just wasting your time while someone is enjoying his steak. I’d recommend you to try striploin steak, and don’t forget about a glass of vine! A cook will cook it just in front of you, so you can enjoy the process at the same time.

Awesome steak! I'll visit next time.

Very nice people. Very courteous and skilled. For $150 per pound the steak was disappointing to a Canadian. Kobe is raised for its tenderness and flavour and marbled fat. It was all of that, but there is way too much fat for Canadian taste. I would have been happier to have a couple nice mesquite smoked Ontario or Alberta raised t-bone on the BBQ for $25 instead of $400. But at least we can say we tried the "best" steak in the world.

Great place to have a steak that would be prepared in front of you by a dedicated cook. Staff speaks at least some English and they do have an English menu too.The steak was great and this location is quite a bit less crowded than the HQ store on the same street.I find it interesting that they also Russian branding in their logo, but the name is misspelled. The staff told me the founder was just fascinated with Russian culture and is otherwise not related to any sort of Russian heritage.

Not just a meal or a restaurant. It's a curated experience for tasting kobe beef. Beautiful modern interior design. Phenomenal preparation and skill from the chef. Will definitely be returning again.

The Fillet steak was verry tender. Texture is verry nice and its juicyness is perfect. The counter was also verry comfortable

The meat is delicious. The feeling of the person who burns is also good. But the service of the woman on the floor was salt.No satisfaction for the price.I will not go to this moriya for the time being.

If you want to eat authentic and high quality Kobe steak, this is one of the best places to go. If there is no room at this particular location, there are 3 other locations on the same street. The host was very helpful in guiding us to the available restaurant and make sure there is a spot for you. I ordered the sirloin, along with two of my friends. The course came with the Kobe beef and some appetizers, finishing with a beansprouts dish. At the end, I wasn't super full, but satisfied. The Kobe was very very rich and delicious. The recommended cuts are the sirloin or the filet.

Went to Mouriya Honten without a reservation, and they managed to squeeze us in here instead. Very nice ambiance, and we got our own personal chef. We got two types of cattle, Kobe A5 Sirloin, and Tajima A5 Sirloin. They were both heavenly and the Tajima is just as good as Kobe, if not better (and cheaper). The price was cheaper than another place we looked at, and you also get an upscale dining experience. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking to try Kobe beef.

Good beef, good service, really recommend order their selection

Words can't express the heartbreak I had when I finished my meal. I literally cried from sheer bliss.

Place is pricey but our meal was excellent. The chef and other wait staff were so kind and attentive. The food was cooked perfectly. Even the specialty wagyu (a smudge cheaper than the kobe) was so soft and tender. Would love to go back and try the other cuts.

Mr. Nakao (the chef) served great Kobe beef set for us, a little bit pricy but totally worth for a visit, quality service, quality meal, quality people.
Kh Lee
The kobe beef were really really tender and flavorful. We didn't order the champions grade nor the premium but just the kobe beef sirloin. Services were good as in 2 adults and 2 grown up kids, they recommended us to make 2 orders set instead of 3 or 4 sets. Turned out that was the right decision, we were full and satisfied with the beef, rice and side dishes that ends with coffee. Price wise was premium quality premium price. Not cheap but neither were they overcharging. I'll say they priced it well for their quality.

Good place to eat Kobe beef, try booking seats in the counter.

Expensive meal but u pay for the good service, excellent chef, ambience and good quality food... worth a try! The japan beef quality is already quite good but the champion Kobe beef is really thumbs up!
David Brendi
Spent a lot of money, about $300 for 2 people. But it's worth it. No need for reservation as long there's seat available. I ordered fillet set because the waiter said it's the softest meltiest part. I also ordered sirloin set be because other reviews recommend it.Will come back for the sirloin. Never before I taste a meat that tender👌ðŸ»

They are not serving real A5 Kobe Beef. They have perfected the art of ripping tourists off.

After our lunch from this resto, it all sums up why Kobe is renowned for its “Kobe beefâ€. Kobe beef was to die for! Medium-rare beef with its juice really did melt in my mouth:)The sake somehow wasn’t a good choice of combination for the course, red wine will be a perfect partner for the meal. Abalone wasn’t that sweet as I’m expecting and less in tenderness. The chef explained each individual elements of the course. The staffs were very polite, hospitable, and attentive. In the end, definitely this was one of our food experience worth traveling for!
Alex Kourti
A safe bet for a delicious Kobe steak teppanyaki experience, however the course was rather short considering the overall price so beware. The focus seems to be on just the deal, which to be fair was cooked extremely well.
Andre Varella Guedes
It is very expensive, but the food is ceremonially prepared in front of you (tepanyaki) and served by the chef, suggesting the best combinations. The Kobe beef feels incredible in your mouth, nothing like any other meat you have ever tried.

One of the best meals during our trip for sure. You have to book in advance. We ate in front of the chef preparing our Kobe meat at the moment. The place it‘s a bit expensive, but the quality of the meat and the service it‘s totally worth it.
